Humbie Hub Exhibition

That's my Art exhibition " A Journey Through Scotland " set up at Humbie Hub for the next 5 weeks. I have a lot of new work on display including some new oil paintings. I am enjoying working in oil again and love the texture and vibrancy it can produce.

There is also the opportunity to purchase prints. I have a wide variety in the display rack.

Humbie Hub is a relaxing place for lunch or a coffee and delicious home baking. There is a well stocked shop hosting a wide variety of different foods and gifts. Pop along! Cafe is closed on a Tuesday

Here is a little preview!

An Introduction to my 2024 Calendar

I am fortunate to be able to travel to Scotland's beautiful locations, and included in this years calendar are many of my favourite places, some of which hold ensuring messages.

Painting is something you feel the urge to do, to capture the energy and atmosphere. I am fascinated by how the light constantly shifts and changes the landscape. I am drawn to beaches as they give me a sense of calm, whilst the rugged mountains give me a feeling of freedom.

My aim is to share what I see in that exact moment, for you to get lost in my art as if you are actually there. On my travels I love taking in the culture, the music, and of course the Scottish cuisine.

I am partial to a delicious plate of scallops and chips, washed down by a crisp glass of white wine!

From seascapes to pet portraits, cushions and doorknobs, ranging in acrylic, oil, watercolour and pastel.

My originals, prints and cards can be found in shops in the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh, Oban Mallaig Art Gallery, Glasgow, Stirling, Harris, and the island of Iona. Having had my first solo exhibition in 2022, which was a journey up the West Coast of Scotland, I am now working on more originals, as well as many commissions.

I exhibit regularly at many arts & craft fairs, and my current schedule can be found further down on this page

In the past I have  exhibited at The Crafters annual fair, Kelso, Art @ Ancrum, 3 Harbours Art Festival, McMillan Cancers Annual Art Fair, East Linton Art Exhibition and many more events.

I have started to write a blog to keep in touch with those who are interested in my work. Please take a look at it here; I'd love to hear from you all!

"My most favourite work of art yet! Love the crashing waves and even though the location is different, it reminds me vividly of the northwest shore of Iona in a storm!"
